AWSome Atlanta

By John | April 3, 2008

We have created a new “Cloud Technology” user group in Atlanta. The new group is called AWSome. The kind folk in in Silicon Valley let us piggy back and clone their awesome AWS user group.

Our first meeting will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008, 7:00 PM. The location is still TBD based on how many attendees sign up for the first meeting. Most likely it will be held in the Georgia Tech “Tech Square” area.

Please join us to talk about clouds…

Agenda:

7:00 Introduction and Group Charter
7:15 David Wright of JungleDisk – AWS and JungleDisk Overview
8:00 Break
8:15 John Willis – Demystifying Clouds (Cloud Talk)
9:00 Wrap Up and Continued Collaboration for Cloud Warriors

When: Tuesday, May 13, 2008, 7:00 PM

Note: We are also going to try a big shots from some of the cloud vendors to mingle and share some thoughts. We will post more as more info comes available.

Topics: amazon, aws, cloud computing | 1 Comment »
