According to support: "Christopher : I wanted to double check but that is the only way to do it is to use the url provided." lastly - with s3/cloudfront you can set headers like max-age, etc. cloudfiles doens't seem to allow that... cloudfiles is cheaper… but there is no interface to upload files other than one by one… with amazon cloudfront at least you have s3fox.
