Look who I met

Luke Kanies, founder of Reductive Labs and the open source prudct Puppet (left).

William Hurley (whurley) the Chief Architect of Open Source Strategy at BMC Software.

I had a fun day hanging out with Luke and Whurley. Luke is a Nashville local, and he introduced me to a lot of people, and Whurley knows everybody. I also gave my “What does Bob want?” presentation. I opened with this question: “How many people in the audience have ever worked with an enterprise system management products?” When no one raised a hand, I knew that this was going to be a tough gig. But, nothing ventured nothing gained, nothing gained…. This is the great thing about BarCamps, and I think that my presentation went over pretty well. I was hoping that everyone would get up and dance to the music on my last slide.

Listen to the music
