If you’ll forgive me getting into the techie details…how do you make podcasts like this? What equipment and software do you use?

No problem. I use an M-Audio Microtrack 24/96 for the CloudDroplets recordings. I have not been doing any post editing becuaseI really don’t have time in the morning (that’s why the sounds is bad sometimes).
Normally, I use Audacity for post editing.
