Years ago I stopped going into car dealer showrooms. It seemed that every time I walked in I would get hit over the head with something and wake up signing a contract as a proud owner of a brand new car (with all the options).

Well, I found a new nemesis… I mistakenly walked into an Apple store while visiting some friends in Raleigh this week.  Sha-Bang!, I am now the proud owner of the following equipment (Sorry Dell).

iMac Pro (My new laptop)

iPhone (My new Blackberry)

iPod (for my wife)

Ouch, big hit in the wallet there!

Ever since joining IBM/MUSE I’ve swore by the iPod. I’ve given some thought to the MacBook Pro as well. You should share your experiences on the blog as you try to come up to speed with it and what works/doesn’t work for you with it (tools, software, etc.). I’d really like one for all of my photo stuff.

That’s a great idea. I just made it home from the NC mountains. Will start my adventures tomorrow.
