    I think that this a great use of an old mall - that might have otherwise been left abandoned.

    anyway…

    I’m a mosso customer for now… and what he says starting at about 13:00 about not being able to load balance EC2 - is some what wrong - there are companies available that make it easy (rightscale and scalr come to mind). I of course use s3 for static storage now that mosso is switching to a request based billing, and based on the performance over the last year - I’m at a cross roads about looking for a new host.

    Its funny that the other guy says that the cloud is at risk - because i’ve seen mosso’s “cloud” come down several times. In fact i’ve seen one errant query take out a whole database cluster. Mosso does have a single point of failure - the load balancer.
