Nice. But in the same way that PowerPoint animations were cool when they first came out. Or animated GIFs. Or even blinking HTML text.
Beyond the novelty, what&#039;s the value of this? If I really care to see the pictures, I&#039;d rather have real, high-res, not moving pictures. Brad mentions that they try to sell to real estate agents. I sure hope the agents used this in conjunction with normal images, not as a replacement. But I have seen too many sites use flash as a replacement for what would be just fine as HTML (e.g. the menu of a restaurant) to have any illusion here.
OK, I have now definitely branded myself as a retrograde crank. So be it.
Hey, I have an idea. Can I mash-this service up with my IT monitoring dashboard? Wouldn&#039;t the resource utilization histograms be more entertaining if they were floating around to the rhythm of the music?</description>
