Thanks for pointing to this in your reply on the podcast comment. Nice. But in the same way that PowerPoint animations were cool when they first came out. Or animated GIFs. Or even blinking HTML text. Beyond the novelty, what's the value of this? If I really care to see the pictures, I'd rather have real, high-res, not moving pictures. Brad mentions that they try to sell to real estate agents. I sure hope the agents used this in conjunction with normal images, not as a replacement. But I have seen too many sites use flash as a replacement for what would be just fine as HTML (e.g. the menu of a restaurant) to have any illusion here. OK, I have now definitely branded myself as a retrograde crank. So be it. Hey, I have an idea. Can I mash-this service up with my IT monitoring dashboard?
