- VMware Seeds Amazon Cloud Competitors — Cloud Computing — InformationWeek – VMware CEO Paul Maritz said at VMworld Tuesday that his firm will offer service providers VMware vCloud Express, a set of virtualization tools that allow them to set up low end, self-provisioning, pay-as-you-go cloud services that match up more easily with the VMware environments inside the enterprise.
- Zoho teams with VMWare for private cloud SaaS delivery – FierceContentManagement – Zoho, an online provider of a suite of business software, announced this week they have established a relationship with virtualization vendor VMWare to deliver Zoho behind the firewall. This move effectively gives customers the option of a private cloud, in which to deliver Zoho's business software.
