[...] Duke University ran a workshop this month teaching Alice to 33 North Carolina teachers and 32 students . Alice is a wonderful tool that teaches young adults advanced computer programming concepts through animation and video game creation. Both my boys have been using Alice for about 6 months and they really enjoy making thier own 3D animations. Alice started out originally as a program designed to get college students interested in computer sciences. However, more and more high schools and middle schools are adding Alice into their teaching curriculum. If you want your children to start getting excited about computer programming Alice is a great tool to jumpstart them. [...]
