40 Days of Rag on ValleyWag #4 – Spitzer should have spent more money?

By John | March 13, 2008

You go girl. Sweat Mellisa (Mark Hinkle wins the only one to get it award) comes through again. Honestly I was starting to get worried again. Yesterday was actually a pretty cool day for the Valleyrag team (good work guys). Most of the day had gone by and she had not made any posts and I was optimistically hoping that I might of scared her off (not a chance).

Before we get started we need to do some house keeping. They still have not turned off my comment authority yet. I was also very proud to see that it only took three days for Valleyrag to react to my posts and in fact the big kahuna himself made this comment on #3… (BTW, drinks on the house when “Old Sweaty” makes her first comment).

This is good, but c’mon you do better! Here’s a hint: look for posts in which we try to do math ;-)

I don’t have a clue of what he is telling me. However, I believe there might be a valuable clue in his message that can help me complete my 40 day quest. Please help me solve this mystery.

Anyway, back to old sweaty. While the rest of the blog-o-sphere was trying analyze Eliot Spitzer’s indescression, old sweaty was doing a classic break-fix-analysis on the situation. Her contention is that this whole thing could have been avoided if only Spitzer had just spent more money. Now I am from New York and we can waste money with the best, however if we are going to spend the kind of money old sweaty is talking about we would do something really stupid like waste it at a strip club instead.

Valleywag, please can Melissa Gira Grant. I can’t see how you can legitimately make fun of Scoble and Arrington (which I consider a noble cause) with old sweaty stinking the place up.
